Cheap Cigars or Cigarillo: Is it Counterfeit

The fact is that just like so many other consumer products that are being sold online, now cheap cigars or a cigarillo can end up being counterfeit. That’s right! The bargain that you were so excited to find and score on can in end turn out to not be such a bargain after all.

Now if you’ve never had the misfortune of tasting counterfeit tobacco products, let me tell you that it is a rude awakening. You just can’t imagine that a smoke can taste that bad, and I mean bad. Worse then the worse cheap budget brands you can by. Counterfeiters buy the tobacco that’s unmarketable through normal channels.

Rule #1 when buying cheap cigars or a cigarillo, is that if the deal seems just too darn good to be true than it probably is. You see, you have to stop and ask yourself why they would sell you something that’s priced to leave the seller no profit? It’s just not how legitimate marketing works.

Rule #2 is to be highly skeptical of sites based out of Asian countries, and most particularly China. Check for the site location because by law it has to be listed in plain view on the site. So what if their home location isn’t listed? Well that’s even worse. It means that their operating illegally, and it’s most likely a temporary, rip off site.

Rule #3 is to be leery of “buy now” or “ going out of business” come-ons. You need to understand that most online sellers of counterfeit cheap cigars and cigarillos have some bull crap story that comes with their hustle. Hey! It’s the Internet, so don’t be rushed. Locate a reputable venue with lots of good customer feedback.
